TV Based Roulette Games

As most of my readers know, I have been a big fan of the game of Roulette and Casino gambling in general for the best part of 10 years. With that said though, only recently have I started getting into the habit of playing Roulette via one of the TV based operators such as Roulette Nation. I must admit, I am fast becoming a huge fan of these guys and other TV based operators. I’m not sure what it is, you can’t win anymore money than you could by playing in a real Casino or even at one of the many normal online Casinos, but there is some interaction there which just makes the whole experience unique and if I’m honest, more fun.

For those who’ve not yet tried their hand at the above. The concept is pretty simple. You sign up and purchase / deposit funds and get credited with that amount in “chips”. You then place your bet as you would in a normal Casino. The difference being, the wheel is spun not electronically but by a physical coupier live on the TV, so you can see a real wheel spin just like in the Casino as opposed to watching a Flash version on your computer screen. The whole concept is fantastic.

The only downside is that you have to wait a good 2 or 3 minutes in between each spin which can be extremely frustating if you’ve just lost a lot of money on the last bet!

American vs. European Roulette

Roulette is a very popular game indeed; a lot of people love to play Roulette, online and offline, and some of them are making great amount of profits from it. If you are playing for fun, Roulette can be a quite thrilling game that may push you to your limits of excitements. However, most of you would want to stay profitable — at least profitable enough to enjoy longer period of Roulette playing. If that’s the case, you would want to consider aspects of the game and create a better Roulette strategy before playing.

One of the most important aspects of Roulette is its odds. There are two different Roulette types available, American Roulette and European Roulette, and each has different odds. Picking the one with lower house advantage will be a rational decision to increase your chances of winning. The difference between American and European Roulette lies on the extra green ‘00’ column that is present on American Roulette. That single extra column increases the house’s edge to a whopping 5.26% on any selected bets. With European Roulette, odds are generally more profitable because the house advantage is limited to 2.7% only. In general, it would be best and possibly more profitable to play European Roulette.

Roulette: Are You Feeling Lucky?

The biggest factor you need to consider when you are playing Roulette is your luck. Yes, luck does have a very important role in determining whether your Roulette-playing session is profitable. Most people are overly influenced by losses that they forget about their own luck and the fact that it can change.

Whenever you approach a Roulette table, make sure you will be playing with the money you can afford to lose. This will remove any possible emotional problems that may occur if you actually lose the money. Just play the game and have fun. Consider odds and payouts properly to be able to make calculated bets and increase your chances of winning.

If you win, continue to play progressively while safeguarding a portion of your profit. You are enjoying a good, rather lucky, streak and you can just ride with it for some times. If you lose, don’t punish yourself too hard. You are playing the game in the best possible manner you could, and there is nothing more you can do to influence the outcome. You are simply on a bad luck; just walk away from the table and enjoy the rest of the day doing something else.

Online Roulette

With the development of online casinos, online Roulette is becoming a very popular game. A lot of people love to enjoy online Roulette because the game is naturally fun to play and there are some serious money making opportunities available. There are several advantages you will be enjoying when you are playing online Roulette.

The first and probably the most obvious advantage would be the availability of Roulette bots and software to help you play the game. The biggest obstacle in Roulette is in fact your own personal emotions clouding your judgment, and having software helping you play online Roulette according to a set of predefined rules will help you keep the game objective. You wouldn’t have to worry about not being able to quit playing when you reach the target limit if Roulette software is helping you play online.

Of course, being able to play Roulette yourself without even leaving your home is an advantage of its own. Not all of us live near casinos, and online Roulette can be the only option available for enjoying a lot of gambling fun. When you are playing online Roulette for the fun of it, software mentioned above may not even be necessary.

Why Roulette Exit Strategy Is Very Important

A lot of people don’t really understand this, but having a solid exit strategy is very important when you are playing Roulette. Keep in mind that Roulette is a game based on randomness, and it is nearly impossible that you can actually use skills or formulas to increase your chances of winning substantially; there are things you can do to stay profitable such as combining inside and outside bets and having a good game plan, but it can never guarantee a win. Facing these conditions, having a solid Roulette exit strategy is essentially important to make sure you are pocketing profits instead of suffering losses.

Quitting when you are ahead of the game is something generally hard to do, but it is actually the best exit strategy you can use when you are playing Roulette. You cannot be certain that you will be able to keep those winnings if you continue to play for an extended period, so it would be best to set limits and target profits and stick to them. If you are aiming at $100 profit, prepared to lose $100 in the process, stop playing when you reach these limits and make sure you pocket the amount of money you won from the session.

Roulette: Understanding Probabilities

I have seen countless people trying to master Roulette and predict the outcome of the next spin. Some of them actually did a great job every once in a while, but most of them don’t really know what they are doing. I’m saying this because their predictions are made without even considering the law of probabilities.

If you flip a coin for several times and you get Heads on several consecutive flips, which side has more probability to show next? Most of you would generally answer Tails, right? Actually, both Heads and Tails have the same probability of showing next — assuming that no tricks are used when flipping the coin — because it is based on pure randomness and the result of previous flips will have no effect whatsoever to the next one.

The same principles of probabilities are controlling Roulette. You cannot predict the outcome of next spins by calculating previous results, because such predictions are against the law of probabilities. The only way to predict the outcome of a spin is to calculate speed, power used to throw the ball, and where the ball first landed, which is very hard to do when you are playing live Roulette games.

Playing With Plans

A lot of people enjoy playing Roulette at casinos because the game is relatively simple and requires no skills to play. Roulette is mainly based on randomness and chances; players can easily make profitable bets as soon as they understand the basic principles and rules of Roulette. However, it is very important to have a good game plan whenever you are playing Roulette to increase your profitability.

Game plans include limits and target profits as well as things to do when facing different situations. You need to know exactly when to quit also; it is essentially important to be able to walk away from a table especially when you are winning. Players usually develop their own personal strategy, although several general strategies are available for you to use.

You might be surprised to see some Roulette players doubling their bets whenever they are losing. Although this move may seem irrational at first, it is actually quite smart since a single win will pay off all previous losses. It will, however, require a lot of gambling capital to be able to survive an extended session of Roulette playing. No matter how weird your strategy may seem, having one whenever you are playing Roulette will help you stay profitable at all times.
